...The Florida Attraction Ticket Comparison Site
Before we had the kids, this was an attraction that we hadn’t visited, seeing the line full of pre-schoolers and not knowing who Sofia the First was kind of made us think it wasn’t for us.
However, since the two little Ticket Rangers came along, when our TV isn’t playing Disney movies, it can usually be found on the Disney Junior channel, and long gone are those days when we would ask “Doc Mc-who?” Infact, it is a rare day that we don’t have to put one of the many accidents that our children seem to have constantly, into our very own Big Book of Boo Boos!
So unsurprisingly, this interactive attraction at Hollywood Studios fast became a firm favourite of our family, even if we did get pins and needles in our legs from having to sit on the floor!
Using puppets of Disney Junior favourites, such as Jake and the Neverland Pirates among others, teamed with a fun leader of the human variety, this show really kept our kids captivated. And as parents, we loved to watch as Niall and Martha got up and danced, popped bubbles and caught gold doubloons... (Surely we are not the only family to still be finding those pieces of gold paper in the most random places months after we got home? How one got into my underwear drawer I really will never know!)
Add to that, the 4 Character Meet and Greet stations right outside the doors, the whole attraction was a huge hit with the Ticket Rangers.
So it is with sadness that we say goodbye to the fun of Disney Junior Live on Stage, who will be performing its last act on September 1st 2018.
Not to worry though, Disney Junior fans! It is going to be replaced with an all new Disney Junior Dance Party, which is an interactive show with characters from Mickey and the Roadster Racers, The Lion Guard, Doc Mcstuffins and a particular favourite of ours, Vamperina! It has a DJ, aptly named DeeJay, and a fantastic new host to deliver this musical concert packed full of fun, games, music and dancing!
While this does mean that Sofia and Jake will no longer be in the show, Disney have reassured us that they will still be available to meet in the Animation Courtyard and also over at Hollywood and Vine if you book a character meal. Which is good news, as Jake is our dancing buddy!
The new show sounds fantastic, and we are looking forward to getting our groove on with the Disney Junior gang, and as sad as we are to say goodbye to an old favourite, I won’t miss those pesky doubloons randomly appearing in my shoes weeks later!
