What is included in the Disney®, Universal™, Seaworld® and Discovery Cove® combo ticket?
This is the big one! 13 amazing parks, including swimming with a dolphin!
With this combo you get 1 full day at Discovery Cove®, with Dolphin Swim included and 14 days unlimited at the other 12 parks, these are Magic Kingdom®, Disney's Animal Kingdom®, Epcot®, Disney's Hollywood Studios®, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon®, Disney's Blizzard Beach®, Universal Studios Florida™, Universal's Islands of Adventure™, Universal's Volcano Bay™, SeaWorld®, Aquatica® and Busch Gardens®.
What extras are included in this combo?
Well the big draw with this combo ticket is that it includes a dolphin swim and a full day at Discovery Cove®. Once at Discovery Cove® all of your food and drink are complimentary, and so you can eat and drink as much as you want with no extra charge. We especially like the cocktails!
This combo ticket will give you access to 13 of the best parks that Florida has to offer. It consists of a Disney® 14 Day Ultimate, a Universal™ 3 Park Explorer, a 3 for 2 SeaWorld®, Aquatica® & Busch Gardens® ticket AND your day at Discovery Cove® with a swim with a dolphin included.
You will get FREE parking at Seaworld®, Busch Gardens® and Aquatica® with this ticket. Which is a real money saver!
With the Disney® ticket there are many extras included. You can book Fastpass+ at 30 days out, or if you are staying onsite at Disney® property then you are able to secure your Fastpasses for rides 60 days before you leave, which will hopefully be long enough to get the elusive Flight of Passage booked!
You will also get Disney’s Memory Maker® as part of the package, which is a fantastic extra and one of our favourite things about Disney® tickets from the UK. With the Memory Maker® you get to have as many photographs as you would like from the professional photographers that are all around the park in the most picturesque locations. This comes in very handy when you have one member of the family who is ‘the picture taker’ and never gets the chance to be in the picture with everyone else! Also, there are photographers at every character meet, so you can enjoy the interaction without having to worry about getting pictures. Ride photographs and videos are also included, so if you really wanted a picture of you screaming your head off on Splash Mountain, you have it!
In addition to all of this you will also be able to have a round of mini golf each day included with the Disney® 14 Day Ultimate. There are two mini golf courses for you to choose from: Disney's Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf Course and Disney’s Winter Summerland Mini Golf Course. For those really keen golf fans you are also able to use Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course although there are extra charges should you need to rent equipment etc.
Can we park hop with this combo ticket?
With this ticket bundle, you can park hop to your heart's content at all of the parks. As long as each of the tickets is valid you can come and go as you please with no restrictions.
This means that you can ride the Hogwarts Express™ from Hogsmeade to Diagon Alley and back again for 14 solid days if you so wish. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t wish for that! If you have staggered your ticket start dates then you can park hop at the Disney® parks if the Disney® ticket is valid, the Universal™ park if the Universa™l ticket is valid and the SeaWorld® parks if the SeaWorld® ticket is valid. If one has expired it does not stop you park hopping at the others.
The only place you cannot include in park hopping is Discovery Cove®. As mentioned you only get one full day in this park.
A quick ticket tip!
As this is three separate tickets you can benefit from having different start dates for each one. This will work out really well should you be going for longer than 14 days as you can stagger the start dates to last the duration of your trip. If you went to Disney® on day 1 then your ticket would be valid for 14 days from that point and if you did not activate the Universal™ ticket until day 8 then you would have that valid until day 21! In the past we have used this combo in a similar way. Started out at Disney® and had that for the first two weeks, activated the SeaWorld® Parks ticket midway through week 1 so that it last until midway though week 3 and then used our Universal™ 3 Park Explorer for the first time at the end of week 1 so that it lasted until the end of week 3. Magic!
Why do the prices of this combo ticket vary quite a lot?
The reason for this is that Discovery Cove® is priced differently depending on the day you go and the time of year. Some times are more expensive, and other ‘quieter times’ are less so. The rest of the prices of the tickets in this combo are all based on the year, but Discovery Cove® is very different in that it can change price depending on the day of the week, as well as the season you visit.
When are the water parks closed?
Disney® usually carry out maintenance on one of their water parks during the ‘winter’ months and so between October and March the following year you are likely to find that one of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon® and Disney's Blizzard Beach® will be closed. You can check all of the schedule park closures and events here.
However, Aquatica® and Volcano Bay™ are open all year round, meaning you can sunbathe or ride some of the best water rides in Orlando 365 days a year!
When does the combo expire?
Your Discovery Cove® ticket is eligible to be used only on the day that you have initially booked.
All three of the other tickets will need to be activated on or by the 31st December of the year you have bought them for or they will be expired. Each of the tickets is valid for 14 days from first use of each individual ticket so they all have their own expiry date depending on when you activate them.
Where is the best place to buy this combo ticket?
This is down to personal preference as well as price and reputation.
To help you to find the best place to buy your tickets from you should use the filters on the site to narrow down your search. With the filters you are able to select the year of travel, if you want authorised sellers only, if you would like the option to pay with a deposit, if you want sellers that are ABTA or ATOL registered and also if you have a specific ticket type in mind such as physical, voucher or e-ticket.
Once you have done that then the next step is to check the Freebies on offer next to each ticket in the results and also the deposit amounts if you have chosen that option. Sometime you may find that a particular seller may be a couple of pound more expensive, but the freebies that come with their packages may end up saving you a lot over the course of your holiday, such as savings on shopping, eating out or even free ticket to certain attractions. Our ratings and the star ratings from external review sites are also a good reference point.
Please note that combo tickets often have different names across the different sellers. At Ticket Rangers we have named each combo in a way that we feel best describes what the ticket is and then mapped this to the differing names on out sellers' sites. Rest assured that you will be directed to the combo you want even if the seller has given it a slightly different name.
